I've been hearing this rumor for awhile now but I keep hearing it with different stars, depending on whose the flavor of the moment. For awhile they tried to say it was going to be Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin.
I had to laugh at that one. I can see them both moving onto movies but I don't see them doing this film.
The whole idea of making another sequel to Grease just seems weird to me and not a very good idea. I guess they forgot Grease 2, a truly horrible movie (but a guilty pleasure in it's horridness).
It's been a long time since a "music movie", much less a musical did well.
If Justin and Britney want to do a movie together they should find another project. I'm sure if they put the word out that they were looking for scripts their agents would be flooded with 'em pretty fast and they could find something better.
The Britney-Backlash is steadily gaining momentum, too. They'll have to consider that. It could be a problem when they try to market it.
