YMS/YFS homepage respect the privacy of our visitors.

Information given is kept by YMS/YFS homepage and is used for the stated purposes, then destroyed.

For our mailing list, the Friends List, and our volunteer program, Adopt-a-Star, email addresses are kept in our database until a request to remove is received. For our Adopt-a-Star program, email addresses are shared among the volunteer teams, but only with expressed written permission of the individuals involved. Individuals may chose not to have their email addresses shared with their teammates.

For our Monthly Survey and periodic Contests, we will request first names and email addresses of all entrants for identification and tracking purposes only. Entrants are automatically given an email response to their entries. Their email address is saved in our database for the duration of the survey or contest and then deleted. The main purpose of email identification is to prevent duplicate entries. For contests, only winners will be asked for further information, such as name, address and phone number. This information is voluntary, and if the individual decides not to give it, no prize can be awarded. The information is used soley to award the prize won and is destroyed after all prizes are mailed out.
