- Tay, Ike and Zac are taken: the boys recently revealed at a news conference in Brazil that they're all currently seeing someone.
- Moe is going online: the magazine will no longer be published as a magazine starting with issue #13

- On June 14th Hanson made it to #1 on MTV's TRL with "If Only". They beat out 'N SYNC and BSB!
- Hanson appeared in concert on the web on Saturday, May 6th on Worlds.com. The concert was stage at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
- Hanson was in Australia promoting "This Time Around". The boys recently held a 30 minute online chat with fans on AOL. They said in that chat that they'd be launching a worldwide tour in mid-2000, starting in the US in July, and finishing up in Asia and Australia in October. After the AOL chat, they did a live internet interview on Undercover.Net.au. They followed that with a live appearance at Melbourne's Hard Rock Cafe and a live radio interview before performing "If Only" on national TV. The boys performed a charity concert in Brisbane on March 25th and are currently back in the US promoting the new album.
- The boys have launched Hanson.net, a full service ISP. Fans are encouraged to sign-on and get their own personalized email address. Subscribers will also receive a virtual backstage pass to Hanson's upcoming worldwide tour "including behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive audio / video clips from the road, rehearsal footage, and more". Hanson.Net will also feature exclusive site content, chats with band members, digital photos, archived concert and recording footage, audio, video, special ticket offers and tour dates, and numerous online contests.
- "This Time Around" is selling so fast in Australia, many fans are finding it completely sold out at their local record shop.
- The next Hanson album, This Time Around is due for release May 9th; the first single, "This Time Around" will be out in February; look for the first video in March
- Hanson is gearing up for the release of This Time Around. Says Taylor: "It's a little more band, a little more rock and roll, a little less poppy."
- Guest artists on the new album include Jonny Lang and John Popper
- Hanson is promising a tour of Australia for the new album; all you Aussie fans who've never had Hanson visit your shores can expect the boys to arrive sometime in March or April!
- Zac has grown a bit, and according to Tay "We do have a massive drummer."
- Ike got a haircut; Tay's is cropped shorter; Zac's has grown longer. Tay got an ear pierced too.
- It's confirmed: Taylor got the top of his left ear pierced. He recently told Australian DJ "Ugly Phil O'Neil": "I'd talked about doing it for a while now and we were in New York meeting some people who we're going to work with on the new album and , um, so we went up to Woodstock and, yeah, I got it done. I've had it for about 5 weeks now and, yeah, it's as simple as that."
- The Melrose Place episode with Hanson finally aired in Australia, reports Tessa, an Aussie fan, and team leader of our Hanson pages. "They boys appeared in a Christmas episode and performed some songs from their Christmas album, Snowed In. If you haven't got this album yet, get it this Christmas, it is great."
- Ike got his braces removed.
- "Australia is definately at the top of our tour list." So says a Hanson spokesman regarding tour plans to promote the late September CD release. So calm down all you Aussie fans, looks like Hanson really is heading your way.
- According to Teen People, Hanson has "retired" "MMMBop". "There is more to Hanson than 'MMMBop' or just one song." (Note: Aussie fans report that they are outraged by this, since they've yet to see the boys do anything!)
Hanson ON TOUR:
Here's the latest dates for the Hanson tour. The boys recorded a live show at San Francisco's famed Fillmore Auditorium in front of 900 lucky fans on Tuesday June 27th. The show was filmed for DirectTV. The boys included covers of some oldies, including "Magic Carpet Ride" (Steppenwolf) and "Piece of My Heart" (Janis Joplin).
Before the official tour gets under way in Tulsa, OK on July 27th, the boys will make a few select appearances:July 3; Uncle Sam Jam 2000
July 14; VH1's "The List"And look for he trio on Jay Leno's Toinight Show August 7th.

- Their parents, Diana and Walker, met and feel in love at Nathan Hale High School
- The boys have built a treehouse in their backyard
- They have written over 300 songs
- Their mother home schools them; and they have a math tutor who travels with them
- They all bite their nails
- They all collect Lego and build intricate medieval castles
- Mmmbop was filmed in Malibu and Hollywood
- They all play the piano
- During the video shoot for "Where's the Love", Jessica and Avie kept drawing pictures for the director, Tamara Davis. She still has them pasted up in her house.
- Mmmbop was nominated for Best New Artist in a Video at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards
- The yellow car in Mmmbop is the same one that was in Speed 2
- Before leaving on their frist promotional tour for Mercury Records, the boys practiced hard at the old Tulsa Little Theater for a week

- They don't mind anti-Hanson sites, "There was a Marilyn Hanson page where they made us look like Marilyn Manson and had blood coming out of our mouths," says Ike, "It was pretty funny actually."
- "Mmmbop" went to #1 in 25 countries
- Zac was actually asked by an interviewer if he'd been abducted by aliens before
- May 6th has been proclaimed as Hanson Day in the state of Oklahoma
- They found their manager while singing in the lobby of the Austin, TX Four Seasons during the South By Southwest Music festival
- At the Houston show, Taylor accidently pegged someone in the head with a water bottle
