comments: Johnny's been around for a while, but it wasn't until he joined the cast of the hit show "Roseanne" that he really hit the bigtime. Before "Roseanne" Johnny was in a couple forgettable (and quickly dropped) series, numerous TV movies and had a small part alongside River Phoenix in the thoroughly awful Jimmy Reardon. His reading of the Rusty Griswold character in one of the National Lampoon's Vacation movies was as good as any of the rest who've played the part. But it really was as David in "Roseanne" that he hit his stride. Sensative David, holding his own in the tumultuous Conner household. Now that "Roseanne" has seen it's last season, it's time for Johnny to move on to bigger and better things. And move on he did, doing 7 films in 3 years. Catch him next alongside Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow in Bounce, a romantic drama. Busy boy.
