Jonathan Brandis' Films

 

Adopt-a-Star member Marie writes a short plot synopsis of some of Jonathan's films:
"Two Came Back" (1997) This TV-move is about a guy that works with sailing boats from dealers to their owner. And he is going to sail a 68 feet Irwin to Vancouver and he brings 4 of his friends with him. On the boat is so many different feelings so when a storm comes it is only one man on the bridge, Jonathan Brandis. And soon the boat is on the Pacific ocean-floor. And all the crew is in a little lifeboat, but it is only two who come back.
"Her Last Chance" (1996) It is about a girl and her boyfriend that is in a gang that is using drugs.They are arrested and Alex been placed in rehab but not her boyfriend Preston (Jonathan Brandis). His parents think that he has to go to a psychiatrist. After one-month Alex comes out and Preston has saved some drugs. But Preston hears the news that she is not going to drink or take drugs. Preston does his best to still be together with Alex, but it leads to many fights and Alex is accused of murdering Preston. Of course she is innocent, but who did kill Preston?
"Sea Quest DSV 4200" (1992 - 1996) It is about an American submarine in the early future it is all from 2010-2040 I think. This TV series is about Captain Nathan Hale Bridger and his crew, and their different missions. In the crew are so many different people, some of them are: Commander Jonathan Devin Ford, Lucas Wolenzak is a computer-genius only 16 years old. Anthony Piccolo a prison customer who is put on Sea Quest for duty and Dagwood the Dagger, a GELF (Genetic Life Form) prototype who is extremely strong and talks like a child. Then we have Miguel Ortiz that is a guy who knows everything about mythology, Lonnie Henderson who works in machinery and of course we have Tim O'Neill he talks 12 language and a dolphin named Darwin that talks. Jonathan plays the part of Lucas Wolenzak. Lucas is son off Dr Wolenzak, a big man in the UEO (United Earth Organization) that one day dumps his son on Sea Quest and Captain Briger is the one who taking care of Lucas. Lucas is a very bright young man, he graduate from Stanford with sky-high records and, as his father ending up in the UEO. At first Lucas only stayed with Nathan on Sea Quest then he started to make him self useful when he broke in to the enemies databases and got useful info. So Lucas come to be respected in the crew as if he was on of them. One day Sea Quest disappears and is gone for 10 years, while they are gone some major things happens. When Sea Quest and their crew find Lucas is only allowed to stay if he sing up for duty. So he became chief computer analyst ensign Wolenzak on the bridge. Then his career in the UEO is having a big and great start. Sea Quest is also having a new Captain, Hudson. Briger has decided to retire. There are some new faces in the series but the end of the series is very good if you have followed the series a time so you have a favorite you can fallow their destiny. It is a great series with a great script and special effects. It is about everything from love and bad guys that's try to break up the UEO to Sea Quest can travel in time (by mistake, it wasn't designed to that) but everything usually ends up with a happy ending. -submitted by Adopt-a-Star member, Marie
