comments: Eighties heart throb to nineties heart throb? Cute Kirk Cameron was the star of the eighties hit sitcom "Growing Pains". All American Boy: cute, wholesome, and straight and narrow. Kirk did a few throw away movies and then really faded from stardom, only to return in 1995 in his own sitcom "Kirk". He looked a lot older, but he's still a cutie. Kirk really isn't that great of an actor, and he's probably in his element with light sitcom fair. He could do this for years to come, but someday those boyish looks will work against him. Ahh, we still think your a cutie Kirk! Kirk's latest romp was in a Disney Channel movie, "You Lucky Dog", which still makes it onto the heavy Disney rotation. Up next: Kirk stars in Left Behind, a very Christian film about the end days. Controversy surrounds the film, which the producers will release on video first (to Christian churches), then to theaters. Kirk stars as Buck Williams, leader of the band of new believers out to topple the regime of the anti-Christ. (We're not making this up.) Says Kirk: "This is a movie that's not to be viewed in churches." Ok.
