where is he now: How fitting that Luke Halpin should have a (small) role in this year's remake of Flipper. Luke was a the original Sandy in the early sixties film and TV Flipper series. A total babe who spent most of his on screen time in little more than shorts and tennis shoes (or did they call them boat shoes back then?). This really was Luke's only claim to fame, but what a claim. We love watching those old Flipper shows, mostly for Luke. It's been few and far between for Luke ever since, playing small bit parts or doing crew work. But it was good to see him again (granted, a LOT older) in the new Flipper with Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan. We miss that cute blonde hunk!
