the Best of the Best These sites are so good, we're jealous. Only the select few can make it into this category. The quality of design, content and ease of use all mesh together with superb results. Bravo! The rest of the categories seem self-explanatory. Enjoy! Amazon.com Ok, they're a commercial site, but what a site they've created. Easy to use, filled with just about everything you could want in books, CD's, videos and DVD's and a whole lot more. Plus, their customer service is always top notch. Simply the best at what they do. *****
Center Stage LA Kevin McDermott, who runs Center Stage LA, teaches and coaches young aspiring actors and actresses in the craft of acting. He's worked with such stars as James Van Der Beek and Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Jonathan Jackson and Corin Nemec, to name a few. This site and CSLA is an excellent resource for aspiring actors and actresses. *****
Days of Our Lives Home Page Mike Mattes has created a wonderful website all about "Days of Our Lives". It's simple yet highly informative and a must stop for Days fans. Incredible detail and breath. Well done. *****
EJW! One of the best "Official" sites we've seen. Not too flashy, easy to navigate and lots of info on the adorable Elijah Wood. *****
the Best Official sites The Official A1 website The lads of A1 have a very nice official site. Find out about the guys, listen to some tracks, and more. Both Flash and non-Flash versions are available. ****
Brothers Lawrence An nice site devoted to news and updates about the brothers Lawrence (Matt, Joey and Andy). Crisp design and updated info, add to the appeal. Nicely done, but our only complaint: why is it on AOL and not on it's own domain? ***
Christian Wunderlich home Nice site on German pop star Christian Wunderlich. Great bio and pics and up2date info on Christian in German and English. Our only complaint: the 341 K frontend thing and the graphic intensive inner core are trying. **
Official Freddie Prinze Jr site Crisp clear design, informtive with tons of up2date info on Freddie, this site rocks. We especially like to front end that doesn't assault you with a huge flash file, but instead chooses a quick to download set of images and navigation menus. Well done! *****
Jesse Spencer Online Nice design and lots of up2date info about one of Australia's true natural treasures, Jesse Spencer. All the latest news, personal messages from gthe lad himself, Jesse mail and a whole lot more. ****
Planet Joe For a site that looks at a virtually unknown actor from the midwest, this one is very well done. (Plus, we have a soft spot for Joe, we've interviewed him three times.) Well designed, lots of info. Very nice site. ***
Average Jo The official site for the LA based punk band, Average Jo, that's fronted by actor/musicians Shane West and Ben Gould. Has the latest info, the most current schedule and brief bios of the guys. The only thing we wonder about is: for a site dedicated to a punk band, what's with all the ads? **
the Best Fan sites All About Ashton This site is fairly nicely designed and full of info and pics. The only real problem here is the webmaster's attitude about the pics: she seems to be so possesive of them, she's slapped her logo on nearly every single one, sometimes with very bad effects. The other problem with the pics is: the quality. Some are so tweaked, they look bad. Probably due to space limitations on her free host. ***
Boy Crazy A very cool site devoted to, well, boys! A little clunky on the design, but it's not that much of a dsitraction. What realy makes this site for us is the exhaustive and honest commentary the webmaster and her advisors and visitors offer about the boys. Very cool. We love it! ***
The Brad Renfro Website This site used to be updated regularly, but of late, the webmaster seems to be preoccupied elsewhere. Still, it's a fabulous look at everything Brad. Well designed and full of info and pics. Very nice. ***
Chris Klein Online Nicely done fansite on Chris that's up2date and simple. We like simple. ***
The Most Comprehensive "Link-List" to Sites About Christina Aguilera For a site with a long name, it has a lot of simplistic charm. Basically it's a great site for links to other Christina sites. Like the title implies: very comprehensive. ***
Eric Lively Online Well done fansite on Eric. Clean design, quick to download with up2date info and a few nice touches. Our only complaint: it's on Geocities and those annoying pop-ups just won't go away. ***
Erik Forever Not very well designed, can you say "thumbnails"? But the page is well kept and updated regularly and the webmaster is right on top of everything Erik. **
Hanson's Song to Sing A nicely done site by the biggest Hanson fan in all Australia, our own Tessa, team leader of the Hanson Adopt-a-Star team. Tessa works tirelessly on her site and updates it regularly. Always a work in progress, and we say that in the nicest way. ***
Absolute Hayden Christensen Very nice site all about Anikan, er, Hayden. Clean crisp design, extensive info and pics section. Well done and informative. Our only complaint: make some thumbnails, not re-sizing via html, we have other things to do. ***
I Love Freddie Beautiful site with fast downloads and tons of info. Nicely designed and kept up2date, it rivals the official Freddie site. Supported by ads that aren't too annoying. ****
Josh Hartnett A very nice site dedicated to Josh. Lots of info and pics in a nice format with a fast loading front end (we like fast loading). ***
Get 'N SYNC With Justin Timberlake Very nice site with fast loading graphics and a nice eye for design. Up2date info and fan reviews are just some of the highlights. ***
The Matt Damon Column Here's a site that's clean, crisp and to the point. It's right on topic: Matt Damon; and it's up to date. For the latest news about Matt, this is where you should go. ***
Katrina's 'N SYNC page Beautiful clean design, fast loading, with upd2date info and pics. Very well done and informative 'N SYNC site. ****
Rio's Attic An exceptional page all about the late great River Phoenix. Extensive and thorough, this is a must see site. *****
The Original Ryan Phillippe Webpage A beautiful and informative site about a beautiful actor, Ryan Phillippe. Well designed and updated regularly. For everything Ryan, go here. *****
The Sawa Shrine Even though this site hasn't been updated in quite a while, it's still one of the better efforts out there. Tons of pictures, sound and movie files, interviews, articles, the whole works. A valiant effort. ***
The Unofficial 2gether website Beautifully designed site that's kept up to date with news, pics, complete lyrics, interviews, articles and an extensive links section. Well done, even if it is on Geocities with those annoying popup ads. (Whine, whine, whine.) ****
Forever Westlife You can't blame them for trying. The heart is there, and they're improving their design regularly. It's full of useful and up2date info, and is constantly updated by a dedicated webmaster. Very nice. ***
Mark Famiglietti Online Beautiful site, full of great info, pics, and more. This one is a must see, even if you aren't a fan of Mark, just to see how it should be done. Gorgeous site. ****
the Best Entertainment sites IMDB The Internet Movie Database has been around for almost as long as the internet itself. It's simply the best resource for info about any film, TV show, actor, actress, screenwriter, or anyone else associated with the industry. Well designed and always growing and being updated by an army, it seems. Bought last year by Amazon.com. *****
Star Galaxy Still in the process of regrouping, this site has been the site for young actor pics on the web for years. It went away for a while, but now it's back and still worth visiting. Markdowns for clunky looking gallery design and a slow server, but we understand they're working on that too. ***
Great Resources : Definitely Worth Visiting And finally, some cool multi-purpose entertainment sites that are definitely on our favorites list, but we just can't slap a rating on, for one reason or another. They offer some great resources and are a definite must see. Feel free to stop on by.
