Jessie: silverchair has a decapitated doll nammed Jessie that they take to all their shows nan place her at the end of Ben's drum kit. They found her after a show.

Ben is definitely the weirdest member of the band. Ben got his forst drum kit from an older teen across the street for $75. Ben also plays guitar and bass, and won an APRA awatd with Daniel (songwirtuers of the year).

• Ben was breaking 16-18 drum sticks at every gig before he switched to Vader sticks
• Ben went to the hospital for 8 hours after stage diving at a show in LA last February
• Ben chats on Lycos but doesn't reveal himself
• Ben was in his high school marching band, the Marching Koala's in '93
• Ben once gave Daniel a black eye
• Ben got his first kit when he was 8
• he plays with his shirt off because he says he plays better with it off
• his favorite summer song is "Wipeout"
• In the "slave" video, it appears that Ben has a tattoo, but it's only magic marker
