comments: Then there is Brendan Fraser. Born in Indiana, he traveled a lot with his family, living in Ottawa, Indianapolis, Seattle, Detroit, London and Rome. He attended Seattle's Cornish Institute and started his career with a minor role in the River Phoenix vehicle, Dogfight. His work in Encino Man and School Ties led to recognition and more roles. He earned his chops, and a few years after Encino Man, he starred as George in George of the Jungle. And boy did everyone take notice. Again. Last year's Gods and Monsters saw another side of the versitle Brendan. Catch him in The Mummy, now on video and DVD, and in a slew of films, most notably, Dudley Do-Right, out last summer. Next up: Bedazzled, a sexy remake of the Dudley Moore classic; and Monkeybone, a comedy about a comatose cartoonist, out in the Fall.
