comments: Ginuwine's first CD Ginuwine the Bachelor was released in October of 1996 on 550 Music. Featuring the No.1 R&B/No.6 Pop Platinum single "Pony," the album climbed to No.19 among Billboard R&B albums and No.45 on the top 200; Soundscan sales were over 1.5 million copies sold in the United States, with Worldwide of more than 2 million. The artist was all over the radio with hits like "Tell Me Do U Wanna," "I'll do Anything/I'm Sorry," and "Only When U R lonely." Ginuwine performed numerous club dates as well as a large arena tour (August '97) which co-starred Bone Thugs in Harmony, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah and Dru Hill. The Dallas Morning News called Ginuwine "the star of the show, he might be the most valuable new singer in Hip-Hop, but he proved himself to me a master showman too." Ginuwine's eagerly anticipated 2nd CD is out in stores now, 100% Ginuwine.
