comments: Is there no end to the talent from this Jackson family? Brother Jonathan, sister Candice, father, Ricky (a country singer).... Raised in Battle Ground, WA (outside of Portland, OR), Richard decided he wanted to act after visiting Universal Studios at age 12. At 13 he was performing in local theater, doing commercials and modeling. His big break came when he joined the cast of "Saved By the Bell: The New Class", where he plays the adorable, Ryan. Since he does have experience in theater, we know the boy can act. SBTB:TNC just doesn't stretch any of its participants with its cartoonish plots and characters. We're hoping to catch Richard in something a bit more meaty. Meanwhile, he's keeping himself busy along with dad, uncle and brother, in a band called Scarlet Road. They've released a CD, called "Clash". If you're a fan of Richard and Jon, check it out.
