comments: 17 year old Patrick Fugit grew 3 inches and his voice changed 1 1/2 octives while filming Almost Famous, Cameron Crowes' incredible homage to rock. Patrick plays a 15 year old kid who gets a freelance writing assignment from Rolling Stone to interview a rock band. What follows is a beautiful film, and Patrick is right in the center of that film. Patrick's previous credits do not prepare us for this work. It's simply one of the best, most honest performances of the year, and we hope to see a lot more of this outstanding young actor.
