comments: From Ireland comes dreamy Michael Legge. Michael got his big break stateside when he was picked from 15,000 hopefuls to play the older Frank in Angela's Ashes. A 10 year veteran of theater in his native Ireland, Michael lost nearly 30 lbs to play the role. He also researched and perfected the regional accent and Limerick life in the 40's. The result is nothing short of brilliant. Says Michael about acting: "I'm so into doing films that will be emotionally challenging and exhausting. Just to be pushed is something -- I like being pushed." On a recent publicity tour for Angela's Ashes, Michael made it onto "The Rosie O'Donnell Show", where a typically fawning Rosie predicted the dreamy Michael's image would soon be adorning 12 year old girls' bedroom walls. Michael's reply was one of his killer smiles. Look for Michael next in the 70's era comedy, Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?
