comments: Hunky Mario Lopez was in danger of becoming a one-hit wonder with his oft repeated rendition of A.C. Slater in the various incarnations of the long running "Saved By the Bell" sitcom. He did host a couple game shows to bide his time and branch out, and before he settled in to his Slater role, he danced his heart out on "Kids Inc." But it was really his incredible performance in last years "Greg Louganis" bio-pic that saw him break the mold and prove himself more than just a one note actor. To be sure, the man is a dreamboat with a killer bod, but the Slater character didn't really challenge him much. His portrayal of Louganis was masterful and heartwarming. Currently, Mario is Bobby Cruz in the USA Network's "Pacific Blue". We hope the casting agents take notice and give him some roles that he can sink his teeth into. More Mario, please!
other appearances: he once appeared on "The Golden Girls"
