comments: Brendan Sexton III is another babe. Just starting out, he shines in last year's Welcome to the Dollhouse (currently out on video!) as the tough kid Brandon McCarthy that teases then "dates" the nerdy star. He had a minor role in Empire Records , but the boy's currently busy on three new projects: Arresting Gena , Hurricane Streets, and a feature that grew out of a short that was shown at the Sundance Film Festival (it's being worked up in the Sundance filmakers' workshop). Says Brendan about working on Hurricane Streets: "Morgan kept asking me what kids do. I helped him with what kids say. The lingo. 'Mad cash,' things like that. So this movie feels real." In theaters now! Here's what they're saying about Brendan: "Brendan is kind of like a baby Brando. What that means is he has an intense held in coolness, a wonderful underplayed response." We say he's a natural actor with a lot of screen presence. You should check out Brendan, who, with co-star Isidra Vega in Hurricane Streets, makes the film work. Brendan is definitely one to watch! Brendan has a brother, Eben, and five sisters, Tara, Amber, Lisa, Ilona, and Carinna. We hear that Brendan has recently moved to Hollywood. Good luck Brendan! Next up: Spark.
