where is he now: Jay R. Ferguson is a doll. Wasn't he really the only reason to watch the short-lived series "The Outsiders"? He was definitely the only reason to tune into "Evening Shade", Burt Reynolds' cheesey comeback vehicle a few years back. Jay played Burt's oldest son Taylor, the stud athlete with the killer smile. Not enough stories about Taylor killed the show, though! Through the magic of cable we'll get to see Jay grow up all over again, with "Evening Shade" entrenched in syndication there. Jay's played in a few movies, and once again that killer smile and those prettyboy looks will get him far. Look for him in Campfire Tales alongside Jimmy Marsden, now on video. He was in the drama Girl, alongside Selma Blair, Channon Roe, and Christopher Masterson. And look for him next in The In Crowd, a thriller also with Nathan Bexton. We hear Jay's also off filming something or other, so, yah! We hope we see a lot more of this living doll.
