comments: Cute little Wil, the boy with the baby face, had his big break opposite River Phoenix in Stand By Me , where he played the quiet, sensitive boy, who comes through in the end to save the day. Wil was fantastic in that role, and others followed. But Wil made his mark as Wesley Crusher, boy ace, in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" , where he was superb as the perennial adolescent onboard the all adult Enterprise. He even had a few episodes that were centered around him. Leaving the show before it went off the air and into re-runs, Wil also left show business for a while. We heard he was trying his hand at programming somewhere in the Southwest. What he's doing now: making a comeback? Last year he did two films, one for television. His latest, Foreign Correspondents, with Corin Nemec among others, was shown at this year's Sundance Film Festival. And we hear he's finishing up on a few Indies, including The Girl's Room, Tales of Glamour and Excess, and Midnight Mass. Next up: Python, a thriller with Casper Van Dien and William Zabka, out later this year. Hope we see more of you in the future, Wil!
