comments: David Cassidy was one of those mega teen stars that got mobbed by his fans where ever he went. The most popular part of the TV/Pop Music group The Partridge Family, David had a series of pop hits in the 70's. Terminally cute with that killer smile, David's Teenbeat pin-ups sparked many a young teen's fantasies in his day. But the Partridge Family bus didn't last forever. David set out on his own, and slowly faded from mega-star to aging teen-idol, playing almost parodies of himself. Where is he now? He was in the play "Blood Brothers" (as Mickey) in Toronto and on the road; starring in EFX, a show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas; and working on his "Tribute to Bobby Darin" album. And, he made an appearance on Drew Carey's 1997 HBO special. Lately: a CD with new versions of some of his old hits (oh boy!). Currently: performing his show in Vegas, and he served as Executive Producer for the TV film "The David Cassidy Story". Busy boy.
