Boyzone

the story: Currently topping of the charts all over England, the fab five from Dublin have been making the girls scream since 1995, with such hits as "All That I Need". They've gotten some exposure Stateside, but mostly they're an English/European phenomenon, firmly entrenched as the kings of the English hits circuit. Plenty of tours to promote the endless singles leave the girls screaming for more all over the UK. Still, the boys seem to be taking it all in stride. Says Stephen, "At times things get to you, but you can't get upset. It's a job which lets us see the world, makes us money and have a good time."

- Are they or aren't they? Breaking up, that is. The guys are sending out plenty of mixed signals. Ronan recently made a statement to the press that the band was definitely calling it quits and going their own seperate ways. Also, recently, the band announced on its website that they were definitely NOT breaking up and would be around for some time to come. Ronan recently hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Dublin, Ireland. On the broadcast he repeated the website announcement that Boyzone wasn't breaking up. Hard to tell what's happening, or why. But for now, Boyzone is a group. At least until the greatest hits album hits the shelves.
